The annual trip up to Pitlochry in Scotland is always a pleasure. A stunning route through the highlands, sees the riders tackle the hills while taking in the beautiful scenery. Our team were out on the course with 3 check points recording a hill climb challenge and a split point on the shorter routes. This event marked the first one of the year working with a long standing client – Motiv Sports.
No rest for the Motiv Sports team and straight into their flag ship event. The amazing Hackney Half. It’s easily the best atmosphere at any event we work on. A festival atmosphere, with music, classes, clinics, a free community 5k and of course the main event, the Half Marathon.
We supply our Dynamic Assignment system to manage the allocation of 10,000 bibs to those that have signed up to collect their pack. Our intuitive and efficient system means the runners are processed in seconds allowing for a smooth transaction for all participants.
Out on the course we provided 5k split timing points sending live data to the event APP provided by Tracx. A great piece of software, reliable, stable and looks great, really adds to the participants experience.
Raceahead Team Triathlon
The end of the month saw some of our team take part in a relay triathlon. At raceahead we actively encourage our staff to take part in events. We work in a sports industry so feel it important to ensure our staff practice what they preach. The team of Giles, Amy and Charlie took part in the LPS Spring Triathlon event. A strong showing from all meant we challenged the winners right to the end but were just pipped to the post. Great fun and certainly has given us the bug for some more team events.
