September is one of the busiest months at Raceahead HQ, as we prepare for the upcoming rush of events. Our team has been hard at work, balancing weekends on-site with weekdays in the office, packing race bibs and timing chips, ready for the busy October schedule.
The October Challenge: Timing 75,000 Participants
October is set to be one of our biggest months yet! We’ll be timing over 75,000 participants across various events, each of whom will receive a bib, timing chip, and race pack. That’s a staggering amount of preparation sticking thousands of timing chips to bibs and filling packs with race essentials. Precision and efficiency are key to making sure everything runs smoothly, and our experienced, dedicated team is fully prepared for the challenge.
September Highlights
While September has been busy behind the scenes, we’ve also been active on the ground at several major events. Here are some of the highlights:
- UK Ironman Events – We had the honor of supporting MYLAPS Sports Timing at the UK Ironman events. These events are always a fantastic challenge, requiring great teamwork to ensure accurate timing for thousands of athletes competing in these grueling races.
- London to Brighton BHF Off-Road Event – We were thrilled to handle the timing for this epic event, which takes participants on a rugged journey from London to Brighton. The off-road terrain adds an extra layer of excitement and complexity, but our team was ready to deliver our top-notch timing services.
- Salcombe Gin Triathlon – In collaboration with our partner, City Runs Timing, we supported this stunning event in the beautiful surroundings of Salcombe. The combination of swimming, cycling, and running against a breathtaking coastal backdrop made for a spectacular day of racing, and we were there to ensure everything went off without a hitch.
