June time at raceahead is the busiest time of the year bringing back-to-back events across the month. The first event of the month takes us to Yateley for the first in the 3-race series of 10k’s. Personally, for Giles it’s an opportunity to head back to his hometown to time this race series.

Next stop was to the beautiful Blenheim Palace for the annual Triathlon organised by Motiv Sports. This year saw the highest entry figures for many years, which is encouraged to see. A beautiful setting and great event always sit highly in the teams favoured events of the year. raceahead provided its Dynamic Assignmentservice across the weekend, seamlessly assigning 6000 triathletes and teams with there packs and chips.

Alongside the Blenheim Tri we also sent a team up to Bolton to support MYLAPS Events Timing with the Ironman event. raceahead provide timing support across all the UK Ironman events, which are fantastic events to be a part of.

Events continued to come thick and fast, with teams heading to London, Brighton and Barry Island for the London 2 Brighton bike ride and the Barry Island 10k respectively. The raceahead team were out in force for the L2B with 10 check points on the course.  Live data was provided for the 10,000 riders via our organiser’s portal, and at Barry 10k saw the use of our live tracking and event APP services provided in partnership with RTRT.

Towards the end of June, raceahead provided staff to supporting the organisation of the Bowood House Triathlon. A fantastic event in a stunning venue saw the inaugural event hosted by RunThrough. It’s always great to work with a new team and we were impressed with their dedication and commitment to their events calendar!

The end of the month saw us travel to Wales for the epic Dragon Ride, to Dorney Lake for the JLL Property Triand then to RNAS Yeovilton for the Heron Half Marathon. As busy as June is, it doesn’t stop in July. The team in the office have sorted, packed, and prepared all the bibs, packs and kit ready to take on the next month of events.
