July 2025 – Bantham Tops the Charts!
The Summer months generally see events start to wind down as the weather gets warmer and participants take holidays. However, we were still out and about attending a great mix of events this July.
At the start of the month, we provided timing services at the Dorothy House Midnight Walk. A super event, with colour and entertainment sending the walkers off on their way around Bath. It’s great to attend local events and to support an amazing local charity. Our services were more about safety than providing times. We checked participants in and out to ensure all walkers safely returned to the finish area.
The next event was certainly more about times! 15,000 runners racing around central London to get their best 10k time. The Saucony London 10k event is always a treat to work on and another trip to central London goes down well with the team.
In the week preceding the event raceahead set up our dynamic assignment service within the Saucony store. The Motiv Sports team utilised the system throughout the week to assign 8000 bibs to the collection runners. A smooth and efficient system ensures the data is captured accurately.
It was the first time Level Water had used a dynamic assignment service for their pack allocation and had some nervousness due to the change! However, they had nothing to be nervous about as the process went super smooth, with no queues and packs assigned accurately.
“We were super impressed with everything that Raceahead delivered for the Bantham events. Thank you so much from all of us. The dynamic assignment worked like a dream, and I can breathe now I know it delivered perfectly!” – Level Water Organisers
Onward to August and a chance for the team to take a some well earned holidays!
On the same weekend we sent a team to Ironman Swansea to support MYLAPS Events Timing. It’s always great to support MYLAPS and work on these inspiring events.
The luckiest members of the team were the ones who attended the Bantham swimming events – Swoosh and Boomerang. It’s the first time we have provided our services to this event and the first time we have worked with Level Water. This event is certainly going to be the one the team will be fighting over. A stunning location, great organisers to work with and a super chilled event vibe.
